I have this dream. A dream that anybody and everybody also wishes to happen. I dream of a nation that is united, democratic and a crime-free country.
To our distinguished guests, to the board of judges, to my fellow contenders, friends, visitors, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon.
I might be still young talking about how I want our nation to be, but as Dr. Jose P. Rizal once said, “The youth is the hope of our nation”. Therefore as a youth, I have the power to speak up and let everyone hear my own insights. Ladies and gentlemenm, I stand before you today to speak for our nation’s future. A future that we As another election unfolds, a new set of politicians arises seeking to have their own place for the elective positions this upcoming midterm election. The COMELEC has already set the date, the date where we get to choose our representatives to take over our nation. Many hopeful candidates have filed already their COC’s or the Certificate of Candidacy. They have their own platforms own strategies to persuade the voters to vote for them. My dear fellow Filipinos we protests on our country’s government officials when we are the one who chose them.
But ladies and gentlemen, I obliged you to have your own research on the candidates’ background, and decide on whether they are deserving to be elected in the certain position they are running for. Our future is in your hands.
