Cultural
awareness could be described as the understanding and exploration of one’s own
cultural background. To comprehend the extent of cultural background, it is
essential to recognize the partialities, presumptions and beliefs reserved for culturally
different individuals. Without understanding the influence and weight of
cultural values, there could be a probable risk that a pedagogical worker may
engage in cultural insensitivity and possibly impose own prejudices. Moreover,
in the light of early experiences connection to future development findings, this
dilemma creates a pressing need for proficient cultural awareness education for
early childhood caregivers.
